‘The Good Shepherd’

I visited this rocky pasture outside of Bethlehem called Shepherd’s Hill that may have been the site of angelic visitation to some terrified herdsmen. Camera in hand, I imagined that night of glorious mystery, but painted a simple keeper of sheep.
