‘Promised Land’

One year abundant rains came to the ranchland prairies of Central Texas, freshening long dormant seeds. Wide swaths of wildflowers literally sang with color. My soul ached to paint them, to make time for learning the meaning of “Soli Deo Gloria” (To the glory of God alone). Result? I said good-bye to the classroom and never looked back
